USA: National Food Safety Education Month

FDA: September is National Food Safety Education Month
The theme of this year’s informational push aimed at public health professionals is “Be Food Safe.” The national program is the collaborative effort of The Partnership for Food Safety Education, Food and Drug Administration, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food Safety and Inspection Service.
Te FDA web site is offering multiple educational materials for varying audiences, organizers hope to reduce the 76 million cases of foodborne illness that occur each year in the United States.
